In Response To: Re: Terminal dialogue hides many Easter Eggs (Hellhawk) : What?! Aren't you going to HIM submit those lines? Huh? Slow down there.....type slowly. :He should be the one to credit for them. Hearing dialogue in the game and recording them are entirely different. Here's the deal. I get lots of e mail from people wanting me to record a specific dialogue line that they heard that isn't in the databank. Sometimes, though rarely will I be able to hear the dialogue line they described, it's the nature of the Halo and Halo 2 beast. Rarely, if at all, do people tell me what triggered the line in the first place. If, and this is important, I actually hear the dialogue line that someone asks for, it can take several weeks or months to hear it, by then I've forgotten who it was that asked for it in the first place. I don't own the dialogue databank. Anyone can purchase the equipment and start recording the dialogue and Louis is more then happy to add their dialogue to the DB. Crediting the person that hears any dialogue rather then the person that worked to record the dialogue is setting a precedent that I will not follow. If I started doing that, the tide of people claiming that THEY heard it first would be overwhelming. How does one go about proving that they heard a specific line of dialogue first? If you want to suck the fun out of this by making a fuss about who gets the credit, then go right ahead.
