Not to disagree with MS's position, but these guys have been "borrowing" the IP for 3 years, for which time they have been dreading that the hammer was going to drop. So why now? I bet MS wanted them to near completion, and then pull the trigger. Surely they (SSP) could have sought permission, but being allowed to function for three years with no more than a peep from the other party is a passive form of permission. If MS felt that it was going to be a problem they should have sniped this when it was starting up. /my2cents
