I do : want depth in the Covanent just a type of depth that will still make me : smile when we see the Chief stick a grunt and in it's panic takes out its : entire squad with it. : Personally the only way I could see this happening is if the Covenant are : portrayed as a society with strongly held beliefs just like us. Its just : that their beliefs make them want to annihalate our entire species. Or the beliefs of some - I liked in the Conversations booklet where it says that the Elites are curious as to why humans have not been added. Curiously enough, we've seen in the HGN that the government is, to a certain extent, manipulating the view of the war and we know that the Covenant government has done something similar. I wonder if Bungie are preparing us for something a bit more political and even sided in the movie?
