In Response To: Re: Joystiq story (Ibeechu) Personally, I think it's better for a company to stop making sequals while the game/movie/whatever is still good, rather than running it into the ground in an attempt to make more money. Sure, people will still go buy/see sequals, but when they get bad, it gets less and less w/each successive one and you end up losing fans. Even the die-hard ones. Can you imagine Halo 7? The Cheif must wage epic battle against Flood-filled sewage spewing out of toilets! Get your scrub brushes ready! The Batman movies are a good example of what I'm talking about (before Batman Begins was made. That one doesn't count.). | |
