This could be after the part where you rescue Courtana from Gravemind but obviously, SHE'S EVIL! Dear god man she shows MC the world ending! And who's to say that it is ACTUALLY the world ending but instead a vision brought on by Courtana to drive MC crazy.

Bungie probaly won't get too scientific during the game either so the actions will most likely be more simple than what is being said.

Anywho, to stay on topic, the ark may be on the moon because if it was on the Earth the humans will have ofund it after all those years. Perhaps the hole may be an ON swich or a shild link between Earth and the Moon.

Thoughts?
