Just another observation, probably quoted a million times before(but hey I've got some free time before I set down to study, and what better way to waste time than go HBOing), 343 says that his creators are dead, not that the entire forerunner race has been wiped out.
Personally I don't quite believe Bungie would end all human life, also the flood has to be stopped, and also her highness says that the world ends and stuff; so the world would end and humans will be spared, that is no speculation(and hence that slipspace jump shit that I had posted earlier, also may have been posted, so sorry for wasting yer time).
