: -S I've been thinking, and I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas as to why Bungie couldn't or wouldn't say what they were working on. I think I may have asked this in an earlier thread, months ago, but I really have a hard time coming up with any decent reasons as to why anything would not be said. Is it likely that the project could still be scrapped? That seems, to me, to be the main reason something would not be said. Announcement of a project is like a signature in blood. You'd have to be sure that's what you want to do. But it sounds like Bungie's already pretty deep into development. I don't know how video games progress, but as far as what I do- Even if it's going to take me three weeks to install a PA system, the first three days are still alot of work- work I wouldn't want to stop and trash. What I'm saying is that the idea that Bungie won't announce because they might still change their minds seems very very strange. Other than that, what other reasoning could there be for not just saying, "Yes, we're doing it," or "No, sorry, we're not,"? Is there more hype built over a game that isn't announced? I don't know. I pretty much don't know anything. I'm just wondering if Bungie, or anyone, would help me understand why something like this has to happen, if, as Shishka said, it's nothing new, it's just foreign to us. Because you know what? I'm completely with Bungie. I just want to know what they're working on. And if they just can't tell, I'd be happy knowing why they can't tell us. Because it's gotta be a whopper of a reason. Hm. This is getting to be just as intriguing to me as the actual project itself. Someone help me understand why they can't tell us. By the way, I don't think I've seen ANYONE that subscribes to the school of thought that Bungie owes us a game. I think we can all agree that we just wanna know what it is, and not knowing is the worst part of anything in life. |
