In Response To: Re: I didn't bother reading the Weekly Update (Shishka) Allow me to link you guys to a thread I started some time back where we discussed exactly the same thing: http://forums.bungie.org/halo/archive22.pl?read=654171 I'm kinda surprised this has surfaced again really. Here's a quick little question for Shishka and Frankie though... (I'm paraphrasing both of them here) Shishka: "We'll tell you something when we're good and ready. If you don't like it, suck it!" (As I said, paraphrasing, but not much off the mark I don't think.) Frankie: "Sorry, but we just can't tell you anything. When we can, we will." Now, I have to admit that this confuses me. Which is it? You guys don't want to say anything, and so you're not, or you can't, and so you're not? The end result is the same, but knowing why is important to fans like me. If you guys could let us know what you're working on (even with zero details), and you simply choose not to do so, I admit that would sting a little more than if you were not allowed to do so because of an agreement or somesuch. At the end of the day, kings and kingdoms don't rise and fall based on what a game company does. Going further, yes you guys can and will do exactly what you want, regardless of how any of us feel. However, repeatedly telling us that you can and will...doesn't help, at least as far as I can see. Cheers dudemen. JH |
