In Response To: Nothing to talk about? (Narcogen) Yeah, all of the weekly updates have been lame recently. They cant give us any information thats in any way related to anything they are doing, except to admit that they are doing something. I have stopped anticipating the updates, now I only casualy skim over them, get bored, and go back to doing something more worth while with my time. I also dont care if/when they announce thier next project. The updates are still nice though, its slightly better than putting nothing on thier site for months on end. It sure is odd that they wont say anything about anything. Like hundreds of other conspiracy nuts out there, Im pretty sure they are not allowed to talk because M$ is afraid of loosing something if they did talk. What would they loose? I dont know. Many people are waiting for the next halo game to get announced before they buy a 360, maybe thats got something to do with it? Bungie has already shown us that M$ calls most of the shots, so I dont blame Bungie for thier secrecy: I blame whomever is in charge of thier marketting strategy. Personaly, I think it would be the coolest and greatest thing ever if bungie didnt announce the release date of the game until it was already on the shelves at my local video game retailer. that would make me a very happy person. This action would indicate that they were more interested in making a great game than simply making a profit on day 1. It realy makes no difference. I know bungie makes good games, so I am going to try thier next one, whatever it is. | |
