Stifling? I fail to see how my replying to his post stifles anything. He, you, and anyone else is free to reply (as you have done). Nothing has been stifled. I'm not an admin here, I haven't removed anything or deleted anything or banned anyone. If a bit of light criticism causes him to be stifled I think he's found he's really in the wrong place. And by that, I mean "on the Internet". As far as my own opinion, it is not that different. I think Bungie's secrecy has reached a level where it fails to achieve its only logical theoretical goal, and and this point is only fostering the idea in the gaming public that there is friction between Bungie and Microsoft Games Studios. Sheesh, man. If you think I'm criticizing people just because they criticize Bungie, you haven't read more than thirty words I've written in the past six years. This forum may be rife with those who will defend anything Bungie does just because Bungie did it, but my lord, that isn't me. In fact, he didn't criticize anything at all. He expressed apathy, for which I mocked him, since he wasn't even being resolutely apathetic-- bothering to come here and post about something he hadn't even read. |
