In Response To: Big and hairy = uncomfortable (c0ld vengeance) : Perhaps the shield technology is built into the Armour in a way that will : only work if the the user is in full body Armour. Brutes do not have full : body Armour but the Elites and the Master Chief do. : The brutes might not feel comfortable in full body Armour. It might be as : simple as that. :P Another to consider is scalability, is it even possible to tweek the elite shields to the Brute body size? Of course humans could do it with their ingenuity(eg.MC), but the Covenant aren't the smart. You have ship sized generators, and you have Elite sized generators, but nothing in the middle, no Brute sized ones.
