Actually, I already proposed that idea: http://carnage.bungie.org/haloforum/halo.forum.pl?read=691238 I also agree, with a weapon such as the fist of rukt, and its very unusual ability (manipulating gravity and magnetic fields) I wouldn't be suprised if the location was one of the reasons that tartarus had an uber sheild. Well, look at it like this: Tartarus has a weapon that manipulates magnetic feilds, so lets say the Halo weapon uses some kind of huge magnetic, it would make sense, that the weapon is channeling ALL THIS ENERGY into a sheild, where only another enery source (plasma sword, plasma rifle, etc.) will be the only thing to make it dissapate. Or I could be crazy >_>
