I still can't see why everyone hates it. It's a fresh change from having to use strategy on the Covenant, to just going all-out twitch. I really can't see why everyone hates it so much. It's not the most fun level in the world, but I still enjoy it. With the ability to recharge your shields just by taking cover in a firefight, I think that many parts of Halo end up being too easy. But finding time to recharge your shields in the face of wave after wave of flood can be a challenge. I think the repetitive architecture is what bothers me the most, but that sentiment can be applied to Halo's corridors in general. I actually like all the large machinery and structures in the Library.
