Just to confirm things, the four cries of Suzie's beastie are right after the wolf-like howl, on that sound file. Meanwhile, I've checked out the 'cave' mentioned by Captain Spark as a listening spot. But actually the sounds seems very muted there (on my Xbox version at least). Listening near the tree I mention (in the article at my site) remains the best place I know. You can actually hear the sounds almost as soon as you get off the Pelican, just by going over near the edge; but the music drowns them out quite badly.
