In Response To: Prophets+Humans=Forerunner (Really LONG) (DD) I'm usually not one for Forerunner speculation. It's always too, well, speculative. This, though, actually makes a lot of sense and I like it. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these ideas show up in the later incarnations of the Halo universe. Are you suggesting that the prophets and humans (we'll ignore the rest of the Covies for the moment) were both Forerunners in that they were two different species that (Covenant-like) lived and worked together? Or are you suggesting that they were the same species and that the prophets and humans just evolved divergently (or were purposely made different in the process of splitting up and firing the Halos)? -Sep7imus
