In Response To: History of the Ark/Forerunner/Covies/Man (long) (mrbananas) One minor addition to this well done theory. Perhaps the Ark was filled with Slipstream pods that would send the desired species to a certain planet. And just perhaps the flood had sabotaged the Ark under the orders of Gravemind so that instead of being sent to the Planet where the knowledge was kept, that humanity ended up on some back water world where we would no longer be a threat to them any more, should they begin to spread again.
