I agree here as well. Keyes certainly did want Halsey, so you can discount most of the attraction on the basis of the fact that he was locked in such a major program with such a hottie. If the fate of the entire known Human universe suddenly depended on a project that I'd been part of, and the single other person that had been with me the whole time had been attractive, and we'd been locked in a two-person ship the whole time acting like we were married/parents whenever we landed... I think my testosterone would never let me play that as anything less than a sexual relationship in my head, even if nothing ever happened. And similarly, getting to play wife for so long with someone Halsey clearly had a bit of a crush on was something her estrogen wasn't going to let her forget either. ...and all of that is without ANYTHING ever actually happening.
