Exactly, as well thought out as Dark One's theory is, their is too little evidence to say yay or nay, and what evidence their may be is rather weak and far fetched, but who knows. Except that Miranda is Capt. Keyes's daughter their is practicly no other information on her background. Hopefully if and when another Halo novel comes out it will go deeper into her past and origin.
