Or rather, why not just teleport them into the middle of a star if you already have the infrastructure in place? My question is, why did the Forerunners think that to completely WIPE the galaxy clean of sentient life by their hand was a better result than allowing the Flood to do what they please? I mean, why care? And they seem to make a big deal in the game about how Halo doesn't kill the Flood, it kills their food. But how can it distinguish? This bothers me. -Usul
