In Response To: Re: HSP updated - I don't agree with that theory (Nom) One good reason to place a Flood research station in the atmosphere of a gas giant is that a gas giant typically has a very steep gravity well. The escape velocity required to get out into orbit is much higher on Jupiter than it is on on Earth for example. By placing the research station on Threshold it makes it harder for the Flood to escape - assuming that they can't get hold of something like a Phantom of course :) Does this remind anyone of anything else? Time for some more digging in the MSP UrsusArctos :) Here's a clue - it begins with W and ends with r, and if you can actually pronounce it, good for you ;) Ciarán. |
