Having had the record set straight for me by the individual I lampoon above, I owe him and the community an apology and clarification. I was not privy to the particulars of this situation, and instead believed the generic forum noise on the subject as fact. This has been and will continue to be for me the Wrong Way of Going About It™. Apparently, what I describe above as a deceitful, intentional act of subterfuge was actually a series of complete misunderstandings that I am now guilty of dredging from the mire of forum bygones and enflaming with new animosity. In doing so, I have contributed to rather than fought against the cancer that eats away at these types of communities: gossip and thoughtless posting. Mintz, my humblest apologies. | |
