In Response To: Re: The Technical Superiority of the Halo series (GryphonOsiris) I also totally agree with your post. Halo is technically, and artistically superior to any other shooter on the market. I think it also has to do with the fact that it is the first shooter in a while that is set in the future, and the future is violent and war ravaged, yet the worlds that these wars are fought in are so beautiful to look at, and really capture your imagination. The other aspect that makes Halo 2 in particular the best is the online party system. Every other game on Xbox Live has such cumbersome setups for playing online with your friends, with some that boot you out after every match so you have to re-join your friends afterwards, or you can play basically custom games against your friends only. Halo 2's party system, and the online Matchmaking Playlist system are nothing short of brilliant. I think most people like to play online as a team with their friends against unknowns than play against each other over and over again. It builds teamwork and a much more satisfying feeling after a game when you and your friends defeated another team. To sum it up, Halo 2 is what Xbox Live is supposed to be about, creating a great community of friends, playing games and having a good time, and they do it perfectly in every way. Thanks for such an awsome game! I haven't really played anything else since November '04. Cheers, Gamertag: Daggart
