In Response To: The Technical Superiority of the Halo series (Mothergoat) What annoys me about Halo 2 more than anything else is the amount of things that are inconsistent/bad/annoying, at the same time as there are tons of things that are absolutely perfect. It's like two teams worked on two different parts of the game. For example:
There are a lot of intances like this - I wouldn't lose boarding for the world, and the missing boost on covie vehicles in Halo 1 is killing me, dual-wielding and swords are great additions to the weapon balance.
It's the utter polish of the good features that makes the annoyances extremely noticeable. (I think this shows the time-shortage they were experiencing - they could only implement/polish half the new features. Damn graphics-fixation...) | |
