The thing about the sword is that, no matter how many ways to counter it, or how obvious it is, or how quickly it's possible to kill someone, it doesn't change the fact that a lot of Slayer games are won because the winning team/player controlled the Sword. : for halo 1 campaign, it was what the Bungie guys said in the : "making of" video, the 30 seconds of action, was perfect. the : rumble, the slaughter, the clean-up. The thing is, for Halo 2, that 30 seconds often comes after a ten-minute waiting game of killing all the Jackal snipers. ;)
