The Covenant knows how : to work it, right? I believe that the Forerunner had a technology that : locked onto the brainwaves of the user, implanting messages as to how to : run it. Example? Halo's super-computer. Cortana has never before run into : their language, yet she translates it immediately. I say this is because, : being an A.I. who's internal matrix was taken from a Human brain, Halo's : super-computer sent the messages to her. I also think that this is how : Three-Four-Three Guilty Spark communicates with us. who is to say that she had to translate. maybe the reason why guilty spark spoke such perfect english when the chiefs translator was having problems with covenant (wort wort wort) is because eithe a)guilty spark did speak perfect english. b)the language he spoke was very simular to an ancient human langugue which is how the chiefs translater worked so well. a or b both can be showing evidence of human language orginating from the forerunner.
