And maybe the 2 rings are close together because thats where the : concentration of most of the flood are. : Another theory is that the rings have slipspace. And 05 was moving to cover : 04's(destroyed by MC) radius because the Forerunner programed the : Moniter(s) to cover the area that the flood where attacking. When they : died in the activation no one could reprogram the Moniters. Tanget was : only following orders and moving 05 to cover 04. To add on my theory Regret came to Earth(Assuming Earth is the Ark) to get the location of Halo 05. After all if my theory is right it would be moving to cover 04's blast radius.
