In Response To: Re: The identity of the Arbiter *possible SP* (Fire) : I assumed that the Elite was immediately demoted upon his arrival/rescue, and : was then brought before the council (implicitly assuming that a Gold Elite : - ship master perhaps - is of a lesser rank than a SpecOps elite, since : those are only sent in during extreme emergencies, such as the recovery of : a ship from the Flood or the silencing of Heretics that threaten the : Covenant). The Arbiter seems to be the elite that the MC kicked into the : life pod. There's seemingly no other reason for that minor twist of fate. : Maybe the Arbiter is even more ticked off at the "Demon" because he : has fought him face-to-face, and has lost. That's who I always thought it was.
