Just a theroy that a friend of mine told me. At the end of the maw, when you are racing for your life, you see a covie dropship come ontop of you, and a covie turrent with an elite on it. (I cant go and look, as my disk somehow got scratched when my xbox was kicked off a table and landed upside down) That dropship was ment to pick that elite up, and save him from the destruction. (I, personaly think that bungie just put that covi dropship there to scare you off, and since you were racing for your life, didn't bother to put any one inside)
