Re: The identity of the Arbiter *possible SP*

In Response To: The identity of the Arbiter *possible SP* (v2)

: So I played through Halo 2(game kicks ass, thanks Bungie!), and I got to
: wondering if the bad ass Elite/Sanghelli warrior we come to know as The
: Arbiter is mentionned in any of the Halo novels. Now, reading through
: Dietz's "The Flood", three Elites would seem to fit the bill of
: a Gold armor clad Elite with enough clout in the Covenant fleet to be
: blamed for the failure at Halo facility 04.

: 1- Ship Master 'Orna 'Fulsamee, fleet commander of the battlegroup sent to
: chase down the Pillar of Autumn (This is assumed since a Minor Prophet is
: aboard his vessel).

: 2- Aristocrat 'Soha 'Rolamee

: 3- Field Master 'Nora 'Putumee

: Now, since 'Soha and 'Nora both bite it in The Flood, it would seem logical
: that 'Orna 'Fulsamee, who, along with the Minor Prophet, are not mentioned
: again after the appearance of the Flood, took the Prophet back to the
: saftey of the flag ship, and left for High Charity soon after the
: destruction of Halo.

: Being in command of a flag ship and having the gold armor would mean that
: 'Orna must have personally killed hundreds, if not thousands of enemy
: soldiers with his own hands, which gives him all the credentials that the
: Council would need to choose him to be the Arbiter.

: Thoughts?

I'd forgotten about 'Fulsamee and 'Putumee (haven't read the books in awhile), and I instantly thought of 'Rolamee and remembered that he was long dead. 'Fulsamee makes the most sense of any theory I've heard so far, but I still can't stop thinking about the Guardian of the Luminous Key...

This is your mind...
