I'd be pretty cheesed off. We've already been told it's Keds with that product placement contract.

Too late. Arby's, Starbucks, Tijuana Mamas, and various Xbox titles have already debuted there. It's a pity the samples were pulled down from b.net when the New Hotness arrived.
Oh, and the 'Hog is a Chevy minivan now, IIRC.

To be perfectly straightforward on this, there are several movie soundtracks out there with songs not included in the on-screen. There's also the notorious practice of cramming a pop tune in the end-credits, such as the Men in Black soundtrack's "Fresh Prince" track or that last bit from Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome. Eugh.
-- Steve's stopped trying to figure out the entertainment industry, and is just trying to go with the flow now.
