So, since the books don't say that Li wasn't a clone, that means he is? That's specious, at best. Unfortunately, the argument that Chiron was Ackerson's facility just doesn't hold up. For one thing, the coordinates that Halsey found in Ackerson's files were "not a destination to any location in UNSC-controlled space." (FS, p.130-ish) Chiron would be in UNSC-controlled space, so it can't be Ackerson's supposed facility. Secondly, if Li is a member of the "tight-knit Spartans," he can't also be one of Ackerson's proposed clones. So, what's this other theory you've got cooking? ;-)
