I do assume that the Covie's borrowed Forerunner technology would be able to read other Forerunner data. When Cortana was put into the Control Room computer, it didn't take her a while to gather information on the Flood. So whats stopping the covies from putting one of there more sophisticated AI's in the computer? Besides, the control room couldn't have been the only area on Halo with data about the Flood. So why did the Covies release the flood? User error, perhaps? | |
