You're absolutely right. Extracting models is one thing, but fully modeling it is a LOT more difficult (though, if the modeler is VERY good, can yield better results).

Your model is quite nice... the mesh seems a little weird in a couple places, but very good indeed.

The shaders could use a lot of work though. They've very good in of themself, but look completely different than the ones in the game.

And the pose is kinda off. He should be hold the rifle so the stock is against his shoulder and his cheek is pressed against the rifle.

Overall, good work though.
