As far as with my thoughts here they're not all negative.

Halo PC is an entirely different version of Halo IMO. You can't revolve around the pistol anymore because no one can pistol really. The games aren't as skilled as they are on the xbox.

I've got a brand new pc, well fairly new, Halo PC doesn't perform very well on this pc. Lag is just unbearable at times and causes me to quit games from dying. On the xbox i've never really quit a game on xbc for anything other than extreme lag.

My PC
Pentium 4, 2.4ghz
512 RAM
nVidia GeForce 4fx 5200 128mb
2.1 Surround sound - it works :)

Playing on the lowest settings I still have lag and loss of framerate. The worst part is not being able to beat the singleplayer mode due to framerate issues. I could beat the game in one sitting on the xbox, now I can't even beat the game.

I get anywhere from 10-50fps during the games. Usually 50+ when i'm dead and there's no activity on my screen.

I play Unreal Tournament all the time and it stays at a constant 75fps unless there's a bazillion things on the screen at once. It never drops below 60fps ever. Also I have all the settings set for best quality and everything. :)

Yes my drivers are up-to-date on my pc for everything.
