I haven't been one to agree with these complaints for the most part, since I've been one of the lucky few who've not experienced any errors while playing Halo PC, with the exception of the gathering data message that pops up once a week or so. But I've been reading all of these complaints on the forums over the last few days, in disbelief of what has been going on with people's computers. I know I'd feel like shit if I were in their position. Most specifically the people who were doing just fine until the new patch came out. The thing that baffles me the most is that they tested it, and it's damn improbable that they didn't know anything about these problems, as people aren't running funky set ups here. In fact these are members of the more hardcore gaming community, who for the most part, know what they're doing when it comes to computers. It's not user error, it seems like a developer rushing to get a product, even though they know it's not up to snuff. Then again, how long would we have had to wait for a truly finished product? I'm happy with my experience so far, it's just that I don't like to see so many people screwed over after being very loyal to a company and game.
