I love selective memory.

Halo 2 has been available 'for sale' since late 2001. (Futureshops in Canada had a listing for it less than a month after Halo was released.)

The release date was mid-2003, if I remember correctly... at the time, I figured someone said "well, 6 months off, then 18 months for development... yeah, 2003."

Or something.

Anyway, my point is, the 'fake dates' are just that - fake - and the time they first appeared has NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH THE REALITY OF HALO 2'S RELEASE.

Bah.
