In Response To: Re: A stupid theory (WhatTheDilly-O) : i'm sure noone really cares, but hey, what can you do: i got super bored for : a few months last year and did a lot of work on the nature of the : dimensions. it seems to me that existance does not travel through any : dimension, we just percieve that it does because of rules that for some : reason apply to relationships between any of the three space dimensions : and the time dimensions (physics), but dont apply to relationships between : the space dimensions. : within the same four dimensions of space-time, it is impossible to go back in : time, but it may be possible with the utilization of one or two more : dimensions (which geometrically have no reason not to exist) to bypass the : line of time we've already been through. this doesnt really help though, : because whatever "past" we got to that way would be very : different from the past that led to what we percieve now. you probably : lost me a long time ago, and it gets more complicated to try to explain it : any more, so i'll end it here. : basically, i think time travel may be possible, but only in a way that wont : be very usefull. : and to all the friggin idiots who read this, dont be a friggin idiot and : answer the "hey, what can you do". it's not creative and its : definently not funny. if we lost you a long-time ago- where would you now be :) the photon, was generated by the nut in the lab. he timed it, and it arrived before it was sent, thereby, proving, faster than light possible. it's true, and documented. the problem is...so what. if i send the light that reflects off of me, out, faster than it arrived, it would be late,still, with distance, so actually, you would see a past image, like the stars. i think atypical symantics, gets in the way. english, cannot describe math, at least not well enuff to be of much use past a certain point, in formulae! hmmm, what was the question again? it was so far back in time, i lost it :) ash
