I think that the flood were : created in lab accident and then they infected some of the forrunners (am : i the only person that sees alot of similarities between the flood and : humans like that the flood can shoot weapons and they walk like humans)? : Then the forrunners built halo to contain but while all this was : happening, they were at war with the covenant. Faced with almost certain : defeat, the remaining forrunnners fled and found earth. I think the ring : is so religously important because it was thought to be were the last : forrunnners were defeated. But then, millions of years later, mmuch later : of the covenant found harvest and learned that someof the forrunners had : survived. But the covenant knew what on halo, and thats why they didnt : want the humans on the ring. I think it captain keyes and the rest of the : marines that you saw on that video chip in the level 343 Guilty Spark that : unleashed the flood. And the forrunnners built 343GS to be the guard and : controller of halo. And earlier i saw a post saying that in halo 2, there : will humans that betray the human race. I think cortona has already : betrayed you. I remember someone say "who knows what cortona found : out when she was in the control room. I think she betrayed you while you : left her alone in that control and while you were away she made a deal : with the covenant and told them where earth was (how else would the : covenant find earth in halo 2), and i dont know about anybody else, but i : kept why was called 2 betrayals because in the level i only remember one : betrayal but now i think that cortona was the second betrayal but you dont : know that until halo 2. this is just my opinion. i think that almost all : of the other ones are quite possible too. My wife doesn't trust cortana, either. it might have been me, that said- what did she learn while in the ring computer. I don't want to not trust her. that said, also, she is an AI. within the bounds of ai, she is nothing more than a program. you would have to corrupt the program, in order to make her do something else. as far as i've read,and seen so far, the program remains intact. Also, i would like to think, that MC, would know in a heart beat, if she was differant. they seem to be quite close. if she , more or less, loves him, i doubt she could betray him. part of the wonderfull mystery,Bungie has woven for u. The only thing that still bugs me- she wasted dropship 22, w/out a thought, all for a hog u don't need, and a rocket launcher that isn't full. then she says a little dialog, about it, and heavy weapons. seems contrite, and real marines died. here's one for ya- are the marines real? look at how all the faces replicate. seems there's at least two of everybody, some guys 5 or more. right in the beginning of the game, the two that thaw mc, are dupes. if that's not a clue, or at least odd. if i were Bungie, i sure wouldn't have had twins start the game, unless it was ,a clue. gotta love it ;) ash
