Cortana sighed and her shoulders slumped. : "Unfortunately, all my attempts at translating the code have : failed...so far." : Can anyone put what Cortana is saying in simple terms? I'm sure this is an : important part of the book but I can't seem to fully understand what : Cortana is talking about. As Church would say: "What the fuck are you babalin' about?" I have no idea... lemme read the letter again... Ok from what I read, it seems like a pulse laser transmission, or more simply, just a transmission, hit a black hole in space and im guessing got sucked in which, for a reason un-known until someone can translate more of this, froze the signal and therefore any data in the transmission was frozen. In otherwords, Sigma Octanus Four sent out a transmission that was never recieved. At least thats what i think. Never read the book so I wouldn't know what the transmission might have held.
