In Response To: Thoughts on the editor (Mark Levin) Okay, first Mark, danged nice work. That sounds like the perfect editor. Bungie, USE THIS PLEASE :) Now the only map editor I can think of even close to this is the map maker in Simcity 2000. That was very nice for large scale work, and could use random generation for tree placement and river placement. Now, Im thinking merge this with the map editor found in Duke3d. That (while insanely crude) allowed you to first draft it, then go into 3D and finish it. Then toss in a healthy dose of worldcraft, bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees, and serve to the gaming community at large. :) P.S. Please make it possibel to have bases and hangers built into hills or cliffs... raids on those type of things would be very challenging, and fun. That and maybe have some retractable turrets;)
