This would lead me to the conclusion that all 800 are indeed cyborgs. But again, in marathon, cyborgs and marines were one in the same. As for the cyborgs being ultra unstobable battle bots, I don't think so... If they were that good, they would have just nailed those two aliens in the hanger, not fled from them... besides, in marathon, it just didn't feel "real" when I was playing as god with a gun... Same goes for all action games where it is basically you vs. the world.
