In Response To: the story thus far (Desio) First Bungie has never said all marines are Cyborgs. In fact in marathon you were a CYBORG POSING AS A MARINE. Second The Marathon had a crew of 25,200 composed of 50 senior staff, 1150 Officers and 24,000 civilians, plus inumerable Bobs and three AIs. This is roughly 14 times the crew of the transport ship. Third AIs need a large computer core to survive. To be rampant they need a much larger network. A cyborg would not have even a small fraction of the computing power needed to sustain or store an AI.
