the story thus far

SCS ship (Pillar of Autumn?) Arrives at Halo with a crew of 1,600 800 of which are marines (note: marines, not neccesarily Cyborgs) and crashes on Halo
SolCore Personel are spread across halo by crash.
Covenent Ships arrive intentions unknown(There are contridictions in various sorces), definatly not friendly
Solcore Fights back guerrilla style to make up for poor equipment
Solcore gradualy suplements their own equipment with alien equipment
These are the details that remain constant between all sources, or at least aren't flatly contridicted. Pretty Thin
Maybe somebody else can pick some more meat of the Bones bungie has thrown us,
