In Response To: Hey Matt . . . (a blatant opinion) (Jester) Damn skippy...A long time ago I got a promo mag from Sierra that had something in it called Tribes...it looked way cool. So much better than the normal just shoot'em up crap that was all over the place. So I started talking it up with some friends. Then it came out, I bought it immediately and _showed_ it to my friends. From all that I've probably gotten about 20 people to buy the game. To me Halo is the same thing...I've already started hyping it to the Tribes converts and some others. I'd say an average of 10 people can and will be persuaded by each of us on the site to buy Halo, so Bungie should help the process along. By posting up the trailer now, it's just one more thing I can call my co-workers over and show them, "Hey...look at this..." - MB | |
