Actually, I think these ARE engines, ones that provide forward thrust. It looks like there are other engines active that act like retro rockets, I'm talking about the blue energy blast on the bottom. My guess is that the ship is trying to land in the picture we're seeing.
So, it's either a human ship, or... a flying TROW!!!
I think there should be an internal camera for people aboard the ship that aren't the pilot. They could give signals and all, or get weapons, if there ARE weapons on the ship. You could have all your ghols load up on puss packets, then PARALYZE the covenant!! eh!? EH!?!
Having an internal camera all depends on the area you have inside the ship. If it's a small area, you wouldn't get a very good view... mb... OMG WTF!?!?
