I've been using a program called Character Generator for the Mac. You can get it here: http://www.elfdata.com/ It's great for those old binary puzzles that used to be thrown around on the story page and bungie's own letter page, etc.

Anyway, I plugged 74 into the program and as conversion from integer to ASCII, 74 converts to the capital letter "J"

Just FYI. We should keep a tally of these kinds of things.

Another program I've been using is called Anagrams. Also for Mac. Find it here: http://www.trevorrow.com/anagrams It hasn't helped me with the current puzzles (I thought maybe the letters in the 2 middle glyphs might resolve to some word or clue) but who knows, we might need it later.
