Okay, so I'm desperately doing all sorts of weird calculations and reading Marathon terminals to come up with something. Here are a few things I've noticed, most of them are just coincidents....Well, all of them are. But anyway. I want to solve this.
And how do we know the PID stuff wasn't Mayan? I know we are on the Yucatán Peninsula (right?) but according to this page the Mayan temples "extended into the Yucatán Peninsula." I recall we travelled pretty deep in the PID temple...? Is it impossible that we, while descending into the darkness, entered a Mayan temple? Am I completely off track?
Recently someone posted something about ESE...being a company or something... I don't remember, so don't be offended if this is the same site, but www.ese.ogi.edu is not only a whatever-it-might-be that uses the abbrieviatisobn (sorry) ESE, look at Claude's old e-mail adress:
