Ok, I'm not too sure what the glyphs relate to in a game sense. I was looking for some info on the pictures that were sent in to HBO of the two aircraft, one under wraps and the other flying. Anyhow the reason of this post is that 'Chelsea Bridges' replied to a thread on the HBO forum (http://carnage.bungie.org/haloforum/halo.forum.pl?read=57589) Whats odd is that there were two threads going on about the images, neither going anywhere really ;/ I can't work out what thread Chelseas' reply is in response to. Here is 'it's' response, (he/she also directs me back here to this thread: http://forums.bungie.org/fanfest/fanfest.pl?read=562 which is conformation that these glyphs are not Phoenix related ...so are the other pics at HBO then?)

Well, shields of light... The Halo grunts come to mind straight away on that comment but swords of feather I'm not sure.
The other prose 'Have I gone too far? Or have I not traveled enough?' This would seem to be in relation to the locality of Thule or Ultima Thule, the National Park. Where it is the most northly place you can go...the end of the world, as mentioned in one of the threads by Hammish earlier on. (This only works if Chelsea is responding to the new HBO pics). Well there are some increadable lighting effects due to the position of the park. My initial thoughts on the glyphs 'collective' meaning were that they are map co-ordinates because of the numeric and time info. The fact Mayans were brillant time keepers (astrologers) both in the astrological and calendar sense is interesting as that seems to be where the last glyph leans towards.
Also the mention of 'Ice and eyes' as a possible translation works well with the 'shields of light and swords of feather' comment by Chelsea. Could it be relating to the ice effects you get on and around Thule due to ice particles and the such... and the light refering to the fact that sunlight produces them within ice particles (http://www.jackstephensimages.com/Merchant/photographicgallery/halos/halopage.html).
I personally think it's something to do with the Marathon and Halo worlds,
It would be very tricky if it was all just numbers, there must be something else that we're missing in what these numbers relate to or could be worked into.
Just some more thoughts to put into the pot...
