I was worried when a few days had gone by with no progress - it seemed as though you'd passed over an obvious transformation (start at a number, count that many, write down the endpoint)... but maybe I was missing something, I thought.

So I showed a glyph to my youngest - a 6 year old. And I said that it was a puzzle, and part of the problem was figuring out how to pick a number from the circle. And I asked him to come up with suggestions on how to do that.

And the right answer was his third suggestion. :) (To be clear - he came up with the TECHNIQUE - I SERIOUSLY doubt he could have turned that into a useful letter. ;) )
