Keep in mind that the rule within a glyph could be applied differently depending on the letter in the glyph (A,R,R,I,V,A,L or L,C,C,T,G,L,W).

I'm not sure what your function F would give us -- one number? Two numbers? One or two letters?

Given Chelsea's comments in her two most recent messages, I wonder if we are supposed to determine four numbers that are missing from the glyph faces? She said in one message that the clocks were numbered strangely, and in another message that "two become two more" on the clocks.

By the way, the "River of Advent" post, which I believe was the confirmation that we had hit part two with "ARRIVAL," was (I think) the first post in which Chelsea used the term "citadel." I therefore take "citadel" to mean the "arrival" web page, and "monolithic doors" to mean the username and password (or the entrance to the web page locked by the username and password). This is no great insight, but I think maybe we are getting a little far afield by trying to find specific, real-world citadels and doors (and clocks) to match Chelsea's messages.
